Business Central, a popular ERP solution for small to mid-sized businesses, recently dropped their second release of 2023. The release is full of important new features and updates to current features that can help your business function better. Control Over General Journal Approvals
Once transactions are posted, any further edits to the transaction will now need to be approved by accounting managers before it is revised. These pending changes will prevent mistakes from happening within your accounting. After you submit the change, your accounting manager will be notified there is a pending approval, to ensure accuracy and comply with company policies.
Availability Overview
Your business can now view the availability of the items in your warehouse with more ease. Through Business Central, you can access current information on your inventory, including levels, locations within your warehouse, availability, and more. By navigating to the “Pick Summary” page, you can see the Business Central-generated breakdown of your inventory.
Suggestions for Your Orders
Business Central will keep track of your inventory to ensure your business is stocked according to your needs. The ERP will recommend next steps, such as indicating shipping a sales order or starting a production order. This feature can help businesses guarantee client satisfaction by reducing delays in production orders.
