Microsoft just released Copilot, their AI generated assistant developed to help Microsoft users throughout their daily tasks. Copilot works both on its own, as its own app, or it is accessible with just a right click of your mouse. This allows you to utilize the AI to assist you within your daily tasks or interact with it directly as a chatbox. Microsoft Copilot is available now- in this blog we will discuss some of its features and how they can help you.
Microsoft 365 Chat
Microsoft 365 Chat utilizes AI to help you and your business stay on top of your work. The AI will look for information that you have generated at work, such as emails, chats, documents, meetings, and more, while also accessing data from the web. It will then use this information to help you tackle your complex tasks. For example, you can ask the Chat to summarize your inbox, catch you up on meetings, and more. The AI can also access files to help you get an overview of them or generate meeting plans.
Copilot in Outlook
Copilot’s release comes with several exciting features within Outlook. To start with, the AI will assist you if you miss a meeting. By simply hitting “following” on a meeting invitation, the meeting host will be notified that you need the meeting to be recorded. After it is over, Copilot will notify you that the meeting recap has been generated. You can review the transcript and the recording of the meeting, and even interact further with Copilot by asking questions like “What are my action items?” Additionally, Copilot will generate email responses for you that sound like your writing.
Copilot in Word
Harness the power of Copilot to speed up your writing process. You can utilize the AI to rewrite paragraphs in different tones, such as casual or professional. Also, you can ask Copilot to summarize full documents to save time and learn about the most important parts. Lastly, tell Copilot to generate a table from a paragraph of text, and the AI will quickly use the information available to format a completed table for you.
