At the start of April, Microsoft began releasing a bunch of new features for its products. Business Central saw a myriad of updates that have resulted in greater functionality for both individual users and organizational communities.

In today’s post, we are going to take a closer look at the update account schedules in Financial Reporting received.

Feature Details

When creating financial reports, it is important to make sure that they are easy to understand in order to bring as many business insights as possible. Microsoft has enhanced financial reporting by expanding the capabilities of account schedules, allowing users to more easily create reports in their preferred format.

Some specifics of the feature include:

  • Controlling how the number zero is displayed
  • G/L accounting categories can be used as totaling filter when defining account schedules
  • 15 columns are now available, allowing for all 12 months to be displayed as well as a budget
  • Account schedules can be exported and imported to or from files

These expansions to the capabilities of account schedules allow for financial reporting to reflect the unique needs of your organization.
