QAD Automation Solutions is geared to make the manufacturing, production, and shipment of products easier. The software is designed to work on handheld scanners with real time data updates from the operators themselves. It improves accuracy, control, and operational oversight throughout the entire manufacturing process. By automating the material handling process, manufacturers can avoid issues like inventory inaccuracy and delays. The Warehouse Extension as part of Automation Solutions provides numerous customer benefits. It delivers a scalable solution capable of navigating the intricacies of various multi-site warehouses and the simplicity of a single-site warehouse. It reduces the overall travel distance within the warehouse during inventory movements and allows users to record both large- and small-scale activities seamlessly. This allows users to assign location to a specific warehouse or storage zone, determine if the location is for a specific item or general use, and specify things like the dimensions of the location, Alternate ID, Stage In/Stage Out locations. The Warehouse Extension also allows the separation of picklists by additional segregation units other than Inventory Locations. It also allows management and usage of Warehousing Tasks both as part of warehouse planning and Automation Solutions Picking Transactions.
