Personalizations in Business Central

To improve your experience with Business Central, you can personalize your user interface. There are many things that you can specify to your needs, including rearranging how you view your columns and lists. For example, you can hide a field by clicking the arrowhead and selecting “Show” under “Show More.” This personalization will allow you to view your information in the most concise way. Run and Print Reports

You can utilize Business Central to quickly run reports on your business’s data. The ERP comes equipped with many different reports you can run based on the page that you are on. For example, if you are on the Customer page, Business Central includes reports to top 10 customers, sales statistics, and more. To get started, navigate to the “Reports” menu on select pages. Alternatively, use the search bar to search for reports. When you choose a report, you will be presented with a request page that allows you to specialize your report request.

Managing Attachments, Links, and Notes

You can add attachments, hyperlinks, and notes to most of your pages, cards, and documents. To do so, navigate to the Attachments tab of the FactBox pane. From there, you can add an attachment to a specific line or to the entire document itself. You can add the attachment by dragging the file from your file explorer on your device to the dialog box in Business Central. Alternatively, select the “click here to browse link”, find the file you want to attach, then select the “open” button.
