3 New Updates within GP

Posted on: November 28, 2023 | By: Page Wildridge | Microsoft Dynamics GP

Microsoft Dynamics GP has added several enhancements to their business management solution. In this blog, we will discuss three new features within the ERP and what they can do for your business.

Print/Email Cash Receipts Enhancements

Microsoft has added enhancements to the Email Cash receipts functionality. They have added an icon at the top of your displays for Cash Receipts Entry/Inquiry, allowing you to easily email you cash receipts. When you click on the icon, the email detail entry will appear already filled in with the default email address and message ID for your client. Now, you can both update the customer email settings and assign the cash receipt for all of your emails at the same time in Report Template Maintenance.

Email/Reprint Vendor Remittance with Message Fields

When reprinting or emailing your vendor remittance, you can now include a message in the GP customizable message field. After you edit the vendor message, the same message will appear before you post the vendor remittance and when you reprint it.

My Expenses Navigation List

Microsoft GP has added a “My Expenses” list under Project Time and Expense. When you click on My Expenses, all the expenses that have been logged by the current user will appear. Additionally, any expenses that have entered on their behalf will also be displayed.
