The Implementation of Acumatica Cloud ERP: A Customer’s Story
Posted on: November 16, 2021 | By: Rosie Gill | Acumatica
Acumatica is quickly becoming one of the most popular choices of ERP for companies because of the benefits of the cloud. Conducting business through a cloud ERP helps companies remain competitive because it allows users to remain connected and up-to-date on data, regardless of location.
Today, we are going to look at one specific customer story and the results that an implementation of Acumatica had on them.
The Company and the Problem
Erickson International is a window manufacturing company headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, with six other locations nationwide.
The corporate office had upgraded their financial software to Sage 100, while a majority of the manufacturing centers remained on QuickBooks. This upgrade proved futile because of the difficulty implementing the new solution as well as the solution’s inability to handle the multiple locations the company had. Moreover, the company had a large amount of data it needed to move from one system to another, which proved to be an overwhelming and unsuccessful process.
Because of these issues, Erickson International sought after a cloud solution that could be accessed anywhere and did not require any type of on-premises set up. With this in mind, the company ultimately decided to implement Acumatica Cloud ERP.
After implementing Acumatica Cloud ERP, Erickson International reported many positive changes.
Namely, they experienced improved business operations as a result of having one connected business regardless of the multiple locations across the nation, keeping all users alert and up-to-date on relevant company data.
The IT department also reported feeling much more confident about the company’s security, no longer having to worry about how secure Internet connections are or how firewalls are performing.
Lastly, software training for new users has become much easier and faster for the company because of Acumatica’s intuitive and engaging interface. The software is easy to use and doesn’t require a memorization of specific codes in order to do something.
