Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 Sneak Peeks
Posted on: October 1, 2014 | By: Craig Thompson | Microsoft Dynamics GP
As anticipation builds for the new release of Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 (reported to be released sometime this December), Microsoft has kept us sitting on the edge of our seats by giving us sneak peeks on their “Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 Feature of the Day” blog. In this blog, Microsoft discusses the new enhancements they have been hard at work developing.
Microsoft’s own Pam Misialek has told us that these featured blog posts will focus on four large developments with little bits and features added in. The four “big rocks” mentioned were:
Service Based Architecture
Identity Management
Azure Procurement
Applications on Multiple Platforms
So far, Pam has given us deeper details on 4 new workflow features, such as:
General ledger batch approval- Allows users to create workflow processes around general, clearing and budget transaction batches.
Payable and Receivable batch approval- Allows users to create workflow processes which need to be completed before defined document processes.
Project Expense- Accountants can create expense reports for any project. Employees can also set up ways of allowing delegates to enter expense reports on their behalf.
Organizational Accounts User Authentication- Allows users to be authenticated for GP using Azure AD accounts. Users will be able to log into Microsoft Dynamics GP Web Client using the same credentials used for their cloud and Office 365 applications.
With a release coming soon, we are excited to hear about all the exciting new features Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 has to offer. For more information on Microsoft Dynamics GP contact Logan Consulting, a Chicago based Microsoft Dynamics Partner.
