Microsoft Dynamics GP R2 has introduced a new workflow system, workflow 2.0, utilizing a custom workflow engine based in the GP code. This new workflow will replace the prior workforce system and remove dependency on SharePoint. In this new system, four work flow types are available which include; purchase order approval, purchase order requisition approval, time card approval and project time sheet approval.
