Microsoft Connect – Can You Complain If You Didn't Vote

Posted on: November 14, 2014 | By: Jim Bertler | Microsoft Dynamics GP

The election season has just finished (thankfully) and the question is always “If you didn't vote can you complain?”  I am not interested in a deep political discussion, but I am interested in making everyone aware of Microsoft Connect.  We often hear from our clients that they want a particular feature or have a particular need that Microsoft Dynamics GP just won't address.  We will hear comments like “Why doesn't Microsoft just fix this”.  As a Microsoft Dynamics GP reseller we often agree.  However, I would ask you, have you voted?

Microsoft Connect is a simple tool that allows you to make suggestions for the next upgrade and to vote on suggestions that already exist.  The Microsoft Dynamics GP development team looks directly at this tool when determining improvements to include in an upgrade.  So how do you vote?

It is pretty simple.  You can just go to http://connect.microsoft.com/directory/  Once you are there scroll down and you will see the Dynamics products listed.  Once you find the product you want simply click “Join” and the signup is pretty simple.  You can now access Microsoft Connect and make recommendations and vote on other people's suggestions.

So if you want to be heard…… Logan Consulting, your Chicago based Microsoft Dynamics Reseller encourages you to VOTE!
