It’s Back: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Bulk Editing in Grids

Microsoft has introduced bulk-editing within the user interface, catering to the needs of all users. This feature has been available since version 10.0.3 and is managed through the feature management workspace. This will empower you to efficiently update the contents of multiple columns across a grid, making it easy to manage and modify data for selected records in one edit.
Microsoft has also recently introduced a brand-new grid control that allows users to seamlessly paste information directly from MS Excel into a grid, simplify data transfer and enhance overall workflow. This addition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (D365) streamlines data management processes.
To get started with the bulk editing feature, we need to enable it in the feature management workspace.
This feature is applicable to any editable grid. For example, when editing User information, the option for bulk editing appears after selecting multiple records and clicking on the three dots at the right of the grid. Watch this video to see a demonstration.
