Incoming Bank File Excel Integration in QAD

QAD has elevated its cash settlement software to enable better integration with financial institutions. Leveraging the Incoming Bank File Excel Integration program allows users to access varying levels of integration to make their AR payment process more efficient.

At a basic level, users can use the banking entry software to settle customer accounts by manually applying cash receipts in Banking Entry Create. However, QAD offers two additional levels of integration to streamline this process.

Partial Integration

Users, ideally AR professionals, can enter data in an Excel workbook in a normalized column and row format and use QAD’s Incoming Bank File Excel Integration to process many payments at once. Using this tool, AR professionals avoid having to manually apply cash, as the Excel Integration program leverages the Banking Entry Create function to complete settlement transactions for all of the records in the Excel file. This level of integration speeds up the AR payment process.

Full Integration

At the full integration level, the relevant bank creates payment files and transmits them to the user’s company. The company then picks up the file and automatically processes it through Incoming Bank File Excel Integration. This further speeds the AR payment process for QAD users as it is fully automated and does not require human intervention.  With this level of integration, the company better aligns their cash position on the general ledger to their cash position at the bank.

At each level, banking entry in QAD elevates the software functionality to enable more bank integration and allow for greater efficiency and accuracy.
