Why Switch to Dynamics 365?

There are several new features in Dynamics 365 (D365) that will upgrade your experience from Dynamics AX:

  • Multisite advanced warehouse management- Master planning takes the settings of the site and warehouse inventory dimensions into account.
  • Distribution planning- Planning optimization is specifically designed for very fast calculations with massive data volume. It’s built as a hyper-scalable multitenant service, meaning that multiple tenants can cooperate simultaneously to calculate the plan.
  • Product change management- Brings structure and discipline to the product data management process, and enables products to be defined, released, and revised in a controlled manner that is supported by workflows.
  • Master data management- You can set synchronization schedules for each spoke to determine when the entities in that instance are synced with the central store. You can also filter data during the push and pull operations to constrain the records or fields that are sent or received.
