4 Exciting CRM Enhancements in Acumatica 2020 R2

Acumatica 2020 R2 provides a variety of new features that allow users to work more efficiently, save time, and eliminate costs. In this blog post, we will discuss four of Acumatica 2020 R2’s CRM enhancements and updates: improved workflow, address enrichment, email recipient management, and pinning activities.
Acumatica 2020 R2 offers an improved relationship between contacts, business accounts, customers, and vendors. It is now much easier to change the primary contact of a company, and contact and address information is automatically synced across the platform, eliminating the need to double-enter contact information. Acumatica has also provided a new “Create Contact” action to quickly add new contacts using the business account form.
The newest version of Acumatica allows users to look up and verify contact addresses to improve customer service and use Bing and Google address services for further information search. These features are offered in every place that allows for the keying in of an address.
An example of the address lookup function is shown below. Using this tool to select the correct address for each contact will ensure the accuracy of your Acumatica lead and contact database.
Email Recipient Management
Acumatica’s new email recipient management platform provides users with more control over document recipients, as users are now able to add or override recipients for each document sent through email.
As shown below, users can change the “Recipients” field to “Override Recipients” and enter contacts in the lower “Recipients” bar to customize document recipients.
Users can now pin activities to the top of the “Activities” list to allow for easier tracking and access. As seen in the image below, there is a new “Pin/Unpin” function in the Activities tab, enabling users to prioritize certain tasks and projects.
