Acumatica: Import By Scenario (Simple)

The title says it all… simple. Everyone likes things when they are simple to complete especially importing data! With Acumatica’s Simple Import by Scenario, a user is able to quickly create an import by scenario along with the data provider and provider type required.
By clicking the + at the top of the Import by Scenario screen the user can upload the data file, select the screen to upload the data, and give the Import by Scenario a name.
Once the file is uploaded the user can save and then navigate to the Mapping tab. This is where all mapping of fields from the data file to Acumatica take place.
After mapping has been completed and saved, the user can Prepare and Import the data into Acumatica.
If you find that the restrictions don’t work for you after creating the simple import by scenario, it is easy to convert to a manual scenario.
