Acumatica Cloud ERP 5.0 Release – User Interface

Acumatica, a leading cloud ERP provider, recently announced the release of their latest solution Version 5.0.  You can read the full press release for all of the details.  However, the big issue that I wanted to cover is a simple one, user interface.  ERP providers are constantly working on new functionality or integration to other platforms. And there is no doubt that those issues are important.  Unfortunately I think the user interface is often overlooked.

Fortunately though Acumatica paid particular attention to the user interface in Version 5.0. To be perfectly honest I thought the UI was already one of the best around, but there are even more improvements in Version 5.0.  You can go to the You Tube link below to watch a short clip highlighting the UI.

I really like the list view and being able to store multiple views or lists on a single screen.  A little after the 1:30 mark in the clip you can see a single screen with multiple lists for Customers, Customers on Hold, Customers with Outstanding Balance, etc. You can then drill down on those customers and sort within each list.

As I mentioned the UI is often forgotten by software publishers, but users always ask “Is the system easy to use”. With the new Acumatica 5.0 the answer is a resounding YES! So at Logan Consulting as an Acumatica Partner and supporter of Cloud ERP applications we couldn't be happier.
