Acumatica Announces a New Content Pack for Power BI

We wanted to highlight a press release from Acumatica regarding their most recent partnership with Power BI.
Acumatica, a leading cloud ERP company shocked the competition in business intelligence with its reveal of its new content package for Power BI at the annual Microsoft developer conference, Build, in San Francisco on April 30th, 2015.
Power BI is a tool that is now available in the United States as well as more than 140 countries around the globe. Power BI helps customers keep track of their businesses with live dashboards, interactive data reports, and more important business insights. The improved Power BI tool includes data from highly trusted sources, including Google Analytics and Twilio.
The 3 day conference is in place to unveil new features and content, as well as training on different Microsoft products. Technical Fellow John Shewchuk introducted Acumatica’s new content pack for Power BI that allows its users to access Acumatica’s impressive cloud ERP platform and database to uncover improved business data insights. The Corporate Vice President and Developer Platform and Evangelism at Microsoft, Steve Guggenheimer presented the keynote at Build.
We also heard a little bit from, Acumatica’s General Manager of Cloud xRP Platform, Ajoy Krishnamoorthy stated: “We are honored to be showcased in front of Microsoft’s core developer community. We are invested in our platform and this key collaboration with Microsoft demonstrates our commitment to extending our product in the most powerful ways possible.”
Krishnamoorthy also explained that Acumatica is working very closely with the Power BI team, and will be releasing the Acumatica Content Pack for Power BI very soon.
James Phillips, Corporate Vice President of Data Experiences for Power BI at Microsoft Corp. also had a bit to say. He stated, “We’re thrilled to see Acumatica work with us to integrate their solution with Power BI. Our engineering teams collaborated to deliver this powerful solution so that Acumatica users can analyze and visualize their ERP data with live dashboards and reports. They can also combine Acumatica ERP data with new data sources, either on-premises or in the cloud, to gain new insight and make fast, informed business decisions.”
