If you are running Financial/Management reporter with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations you may have noticed that if you look in the Help there is no About screen to mention what version you are running.

There are a couple of ways to do this.

1.      To find what version you are running on you can right click task bar icon and then drill up to properties.

Here we are running version 7.2.0.78.

Alternative method

2.      If you right click on the icon and you do not have any options, simply go to the task manager and click the details tab look for ReportDesigner.exe then right click and go to the properties and then the Details tab.

The current version is 8.0.x This version has some nice features and performance fixes. One of the best features I like the ability to re-build the Data Mart database from the Financial Reporter application.

If you noticed the name on the back end is still “Management Reporter 2012 for Micros…” Yes, this is the right version for D365.

Hope this helps you in determining what version of Financial Reporter you are running. As always do not hesitate in contacting us for any Financial Reporter needs or questions you may have.
