QAD EE Financial Report Writer Offers Improved Reporting Capabilities

QAD continues to improve its Financial Report Writer (FRW) functionality in QAD EE – Enterprise Financials.
FRW facilitates the development of multi-entity, multi-domain analytical reports with many dimensions off data such as regions, countries, entities, divisions, departments, product lines, and customer groups. With QAD EE’s introduction of Supplementary Analysis Codes (SAF’s) additional dimensions of data beyond the historical entity, account, subaccount, cost center, project string are enabled.
FRW uses the concept of a report cube, off of which financial reports are based. It uses the information stored in report cubes to generate reports in various structures or formats required by a given company. A report cube contains data that can come from one or more domains, and can be harmonized to allow for consistent reporting.
