Microsoft GP’s Newest Updates – 2023

Microsoft Dynamics GP has just released their newest updates to the on premise business management solution. The 2023 updates come with enhancements to the software to improve user experience. In this blog, we will discuss three new features within GP and how to implement them. 

Display Open Transactions for Customer Statements 

There is now an added action within GP to the Print For selection. This action will let you choose whether to display credits, debits, any payments, or invoices on your customer statement. You can restrict the amount of detail you want to include on your statement depending on your needs. 

Print/Email Cash Receipts 

You can select the email detail icon on both the Cash Receipts Entry and the Cash Receipts Inquiry. After selecting the icon, the form will display the default email address from the customer’s bill. You can leave the default email address or edit both the address and the message that will be displayed on the email. 

Print 1099-DIV with Different Displays 

Your business now has the capability to print your 1099-DIV with lines and boxes. To do so, navigate to the drop down menu of “From Type” and select between “Continuous”, “Single Feed”, or “One Wide with Box”.
