With CRM Dynamics 2016 Update 1 you can now easily look up an address and ensure you have the correct location of a business. CRM’s integration with Bing Maps now allows for a lookup to a location by using the address flyout. Simply click in the Address location button and notice that an additional option for ‘Street 1’, ‘Street 2’, ‘City’, ‘State’, ‘Zip/Postal Code’, and ‘Country’ appear. Once you start typing in the address, CRM’s functionality will actively search for the address that you are trying to enter.

Notice in the image above that I have entered a street address in the ‘Street 1’ button, and once I hit tab on my Account form, CRM recognized the address and submitted a suggestion for a proper address. When you click on the suggested address, CRM will automatically fill in the rest including city, state, zip, and country without you having to do anything else.Once you save your New Account with your address inputted you can now use system settings to enable ‘Bing Maps’ to see the location of your new account. The map functionality comes out-of-the-box within CRM, you just need to enable the map for it to work correctly.

Once you save your New Account with your address inputted you can now use system settings to enable ‘Bing Maps’ to see the location of your new account. The map functionality comes out-of-the-box within CRM, you just need to enable the map for it to work correctly.
