The 2022 release wave plan for Dynamics 365 brings new innovations that provide you with significant capabilities to transform your business. This month’s release contains the following exciting new features in Dynamics 365 for Finance & Supply Chain Management for these apps: Finance, Supply Chain Management, Guides, and Project Operations.
Dynamics 365 Finance drives automation and predictive analytics capabilities.
- New Feature: Post to Revenue account for zero priced sales order invoice lines
- Business Value: save accounts receivable staff time in their reconciliation processes.
- Details: This feature adds an option to allow posting to the Revenue account in General ledger for sales order lines that have no price.

- New Feature: Resetting the workflow status for free text invoices from Unrecoverable to Draft
- Business Value: Users may now reset the status of documents in a status of Unrecoverable. This will save time for users by eliminating the need to call customer service and support.
- Details: You can use the Workflow history page to reset the workflow status to Draft.

- New Feature: Stop posting of free text invoices on first error
- Business Value: allows the accounts receivable staff to investigate the error quickly, allowing for faster billing in the long run

- New Feature: Bank to ledger reconciliation report improvement
- Business Value: additional correction record is added to help the reconciliation process

- Business Value: lets you pre-allocate available inventory to make sure you can fulfill orders for key channels or accounts.
- Details: allows you to set aside dedicated inventory to make sure you can fulfill your most profitable channels or customers
