Default Sorting Options in New GP Release

In anticipation of the newest release for Dynamics GP, we announced in our last GP blog post that we will be highlighting some of the new features for users to get excited about!
Today, we will be discussing the new feature Default Inquiry Sort options for Payables, Receivables, and Bank Reconciliation in GP. This feature is so exciting because it will increase efficiency and save time for users by cutting out the tedious need to filter and sort through options in the inquiry windows.
Once you select a sorting option for the desired account, it will remain in place until changed. This means that now, whenever you open the window, it will automatically display it in accordance with your preferences. You just have to set your sorting options, including type and desired window size. Once you have completed this step, you simply hit Save Windows Preferences, and these customizations are permanently in place, only changed at your discretion. You can set up these defaults for individual users or system wide, so the company can streamline the same sorting process for all users of the software if desired.
This feature, while seemingly simple, is exciting because it allows you to focus less on tedious tasks and focus more on the data and information being analyzed in the software. Users can spend less time clicking through sorting options and more time finding and reading the important documents.
