4 Time-Saving Features in Dynamics GP

Fortunately, Dynamics GP is constantly updating its platform to improve users’ efficiency. In this blog post, we will present our list of Dynamics GP’s time-saving, performance-enhancing features.
1. Password Support
Dynamics GP allows users to enter the system password only once in each session, eliminating the need for system administrators and business users alike to re-enter the same password while setting up users. Dynamics GP also informs users when their password is soon to expire, allowing users to reset their password to avoid seeing SQL errors.
2. Banking Features
Dynamics GP allows users to scan physical bank reconciliation documents, and also offers additional sorting options for banking information (e.g. Receivables Transaction Inquiries, Payables Transaction Inquiries, and more).
3. Platform Visibility
When working on a batch, Dynamics GP displays the user who is editing the batch, which streamlines the work and communication process by clearly displaying who is currently viewing the batch or trx. Dynamics GP also shows the user who created a transaction or posted to the General Ledger from a subledger, which makes it easier to trace entries to specific users. The platform also allows users to view who created items in inventory.
4. Workflow Capabilities
Dynamics GP allows users to set a reminder for a workflow if users have not worked on a specific task during its set time frame. Users can also copy steps in a workflow, rename the step, and include substeps. Furthermore, history reports for workflow can be filtered and commented on. All of these features save businesses time by making it easier to manage their operations.
