QAD Business Intelligence

Companies today can take advantage of business intelligence products to help consolidate information into a format to help make better decisions. The tools offer some wonderful functionality, but they can only go so far in telling you what the key drivers and metrics are for your industry and specific business. Furthermore, sound business and technology skills are required to get you from your “dashboard” vision to the reality of a working, optimized dashboard.

Logan Consulting deploys a top-down approach for implementing business intelligence. We work with your executive team to identify key performance metrics across your business. Specifically, this includes but is not limited to items such as summary financial information, key production metrics, inventory versus service level metrics, supply chain metrics and industry benchmarks. This dashboard provides your executive team with the information they need to effectively run the business.

Once we have determined the top level business intelligence requirements, we analyze the business and the current business systems to identify how best to obtain the required data to support the dashboard.

Finally, once we understand the dashboard requirements and where the source data resides, we leverage our technology and business process skills to deploy and configure the software tools and optimize the business processes to provide the data to the dashboard in the appropriate level of detail at the appropriate time.
