The two most common integration tools used with GP are SmartConnect and Scribe. Implementing either of these will make transferring data into GP a much quicker and simpler process. 

The other important aspect when determining how to improve Dynamics GP for your company is tools to assist in reporting. The three most common areas of reporting when dealing with GP are financial reporting, general reporting, and business intelligence tools.

For general reporting, Crystal Reports, SSRS, and Excel are three very viable external reporting tools used in tangent with GP can make the system as a whole much more useful for your company.

Business Intelligence can be addressed through the incorporation of Power BI or Tableau as well as other software like these. 

Aside from these areas, you can also look into integrating applications used for warehouse management, time tracking, payroll, and others. It’s important to determine if these have integration points for Dynamics GP.
