Microsoft’s Field Service mobile app in Dynamics CRM is an excellent tool for enhancing your customer’s experience. Camera Capture
The Camera Capture function allows a field service technician to capture both images and videos while on the job. This allows frontline workers to take notes on site for future reference, all of which will be saved on the application. Additionally, they can upload both audio and text notes to the app as well. These features are available to the frontline workers even with limited or no wifi connectivity, while new data is automatically synced once connectivity is restored. This allows for extremely efficient work order fulfillment.
Information Storing
The application allows frontline workers to learn and become knowledgeable with the client’s request before they arrive on site. Through the application, each worker can become familiar with the critical knowledge for a new job. This includes past information on service history and IoT data. Above all, the application makes it more likely that the field service worker will be able to fulfill the request of the client on the first visit to the site.
Create a Follow-Up Work Order on Site
The application makes adding a new work order for technicians easy. If a technician needs to follow up on the same site, they can add a new work order through the app. By hitting “Follow Up”, the application automatically fills in several fields to the new work order. These fields include the company’s address, billing account, service account, and more. This lets technicians and customers keep track of ongoing work orders in real time.
