Logan Consulting Speaking at the MWUG Conference Fall 2018

Logan Consulting is a proud supporter of Midwest User Group, the biggest independent group for QAD’s manufacturing and Enterprise Application software. Every spring and fall, MWUG holds a conference for QAD users. The Spring Conference brought over 300 attendees from the QAD community covering 5 industries and this fall, the event will take place from September 16th-September 18th at the Hilton Hotel in Cleveland, OH.

Logan Consulting is leading three speaker sessions on QAD functionality and other QAD related topics at the Fall MWUG Conference. We have Andrew Vitullo and Joe Setty presenting on Accounts Receivable Payment Processing Information, and James Blankenship presenting on the tips and tricks of YAB as well as Andrew Hall on item attributes and quality in a make-to-order environment. Session 1

Speakers: Andy Vitullo, Principal & Joe Setty, Sr. Project Manager 

When: Monday, September 17th, 2:30pm-3:30pm

Accounts Receivable Payment Processing Information

Description: Large or small companies with high or low volume of payment settlement transactions can benefit with the new tools embedded in QAD EE financial applications. A blend of standard functionality includes manual payment processing, excel integration of a settlement files, full automation with hands off banking integration and EDI 820 remittance processing. This session will demonstrate key configuration requirements for enabling Payment application to customer accounts, manual Payment Application processing and Excel Integration Processing of customer payments.

Speaker: James Blankenship, Principal

When: Monday, September 17th, 4:00pm-5:00pm

YAB: Tips and Tricks

Description: Your Application Builder (YAB) is the configuration and management tool used for QAD starting at version 2016EE that replaces QDT. This session will cover the basics of YAB as well as some more advanced features of YAB. This presentation will be geared towards QAD technical administrators.

For QAD Version: EE 2016 & Above

Session 3


Speaker: Andrew Hall, Principal

When: Tuesday, September 18th, 10:00am-11:00am

Item Attributes and Quality in a Make-to-Order Environment

Description: The session will present an overview of the QAD Item Attributes and Quality functions, including detailed descriptions of Item and Lot Attributes. The full setup cycle will be addressed and specific scenarios around capturing actual Lot Attribute values will be demonstrated, including impacts on Work Orders and Allocations and Shipping.
