Business Central 2022 Release Wave 2: Highlights

Microsoft recently revealed what new enhancements users can expect to find for Business Central in the second of two annual releases for the company, 2022 release wave 2. These updates will be available to the general public between October 2022 and March 2023. Let’s go over some of the biggest changes in functionality that Business Central users should look forward to.
Application
Listening to customer feedback, Microsoft has made improvements to both reporting and the finance and supply chain modules. Some notable changes to financials include users being able to to use different G/L accounts for payables and receivables as well as easily reverse payment reconciliation journal entries. On the supply chain side, Business Central will now make it possible to use multiple remit-to addresses for vendors.
Power Platform
Microsoft has placed a major emphasis on how Business Central interfaces with the Power Platform, namely Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents, and Dataverse.
