What’s New to CRM: Marketing

Posted on: July 8, 2024 | By: Page Wildridge | Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Twice a year, Microsoft rolls out new releases to their Dynamics 365 solution to keep their software up-to-date and satisfactory. In their latest release, Microsoft introduced new features to improve your marketing experience within the CRM. In this blog, we will cover three new updates within Microsoft Marketing that your business can utilize to improve your interactions with clients.

Optimize Email Content and Design

You can now learn more about your email engagement within Microsoft Marketing. The system will tell you more about each email opened. This information includes the operating systems, device types, and session details of your contact. From there, you can utilize this information to ensure your email design and content are best suited for the devices used most by your audience. For example, some content may look different when viewed on a mobile device rather than on a computer. By keeping track of this information, your business can increase customer interactions and clicks within your emails.

Easily Splitting Your Audience

If you are trying to reach a certain number of people in your audience, rather than a specific subset, you can now use the new journey “split tile” to break your segments up. This is most optimal for random surveys, promotional offers, or testing new email experiences. You can use this feature to easily and randomly reach people within your audience, rather than just based on attributes. You can choose to split your group into up to 25 new groups by either number or percentage.

Ensure Your Reaching Your Client’s Best Email Address

If you have multiple email addresses on file for your client, you want to ensure that your targeted emails are reaching the most suitable inbox to increase response rates. Now, you can easily send to specific addresses within your journey with just a few clicks. Within your journey, marketing professionals will have the ability to choose which type of address they would like to reach.
