Cyber & Data Security: Your Role using QAD’s Enterprise Edition Capabilities

Wednesday, June 24, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST.

Cyber security events come in all shapes and sizes, and each type of cyber security event or mishap results in varied and often costly consequences. Data governance programs are the key factor in preventing a reportable data breach and avoiding the financial losses and public relations disasters. Often, businesses are mistakenly complacent…assuming their technology department is responsible for most if not all cyber security preventative measures. The reality is that your business should depend on company-wide compliance with proper data governance programs. In this interactive session, not only will attendees be challenged to think about all the protected data stored in their ERP system, but the group will also discuss how to support a solid data governance program using the features of QAD’s Enterprise Edition application.

Automating the Distribution of QAD Reporting Framework (QRF) Documents

Wednesday, August 12, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST

Do you currently use the QAD’s Reporting Framework (QRF) tool, which allows companies to format customer-facing documents such as invoices and sales order acknowledgements? If so, Logan Consulting would like to offer you a complimentary tool we developed, that expands the use of QRF with ‘email bursting’ functionality. This additional tool allows clients to automatically email .pdf versions of QRF documents, such as a ‘Customer Statement of Account’ directly to a customer’s e-mail address, based on master data setups in its QAD ERP application. The email bursting functionality can just as easily be applied to supplier side documents, such as a ‘Supplier Payment Remittance.’

Agenda:

  • Overview of the QAD’s QRF tool, including major benefits for QAD customers
  • Details and demo of QRF email bursting functionality
  • Application and implementation of QRF email bursting functionality
  • How to obtain your copy

Please note, there is no cost for this complimentary QRF tool, but one-time installation and training is required.

Navigating Salesforce.com & QAD EE Integration

Wednesday, August 26, 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST

While Salesforce is a powerful CRM tool, the biggest frustration we’ve heard from our clients is how difficult it is to maintain the data integrity between their QAD system and their CRM solution. The inherent lack of integration between the two systems results in tedious and time-consuming actions just to ensure everyone is operating from one version of the truth. On top of this, our clients have also expressed concern that developing these interfaces proved far more difficult than they expected. To remedy these frustrations, Logan Consulting has successfully developed off-the-shelf integration between Salesforce.com and QAD EE. By the end of this webinar, attendees will understand how these two applications can be integrated in a more synchronous way.

Agenda:

This webinar will demonstrate how to…

  • Add items in QAD EE so they appear in Salesforce
  • Integrate QAD EE Price Lists so they appear in Salesforce
  • Integrate won opportunities in Salesforce with QAD EE Quotes
  • Post invoices created in QAD EE to Salesforce
