FinTek coming to QAD User Group Conference – March 21st – Keynote Address

Doug Lowery of FinTek Consulting Group, and friend of Logan Consulting, will be the keynote speaker for the upcoming Midwest User Group meeting in Lincolnshire (IL) on March 21st and 22nd.   

Topic:  Using Facilitation Techniques to Deliver Optimal Team-Based Performance

Always upbeat and willing to engage the audience in a light hearted way, Doug brings an edgy style of training experiences which challenges the student to reach high and excel at using the tools and techniques acquired through the training. 

Midwest User Group:  The largest independent user group for QAD’s manufacturing management and Enterprise Application software.  MWUG represents companies in the Midwestern US as well as QAD partners and other product/service providers who support QAD systems. 

Doug Lowery and FinTek Consulting Group:  Doug has provided leadership mentoring and project management support to countless business leaders and project managers.  He has championed, mentored, trained, on project deliverables of over 300 Black Belt and Green Belt projects, and countless  Lean/Continuous Improvement Events from manufacturing to commercial services in companies from GE, CNN, Acuity Brands, Rexam Pharmaceuticals,  Hollingsworth and Vose, Federal Mogul, City of Greenfield IN , and Vectren Corporation, Harrison Steel Co, and International Paper.

Over his tenure with FinTek he has been engaged in Leadership and Continuous Improvement Training and Consulting.   He is a degreed engineer with an MBA in Operations with a concentration in Executive Leadership.   He is a former executive with General Electric Corporation.  His passion for teaching, mentoring and training on Leadership Skills and Continuous Improvement was cultivated as a practitioner at Companies including General Electric and Acuity Brands.  Always upbeat and willing to engage the audience in a light hearted way, he brings an edgy style of training to the team which challenges the student to reach high and excel at using the tools and techniques acquired through the training. 

Doug began his career as a Ceramic Engineer, with a BS in Ceramic Science and Engineering from Penn State University.  He has a MBA in Production and Operations from Drexel University.  He has held various roles from engineering and front line supervisory jobs, to operations manager and Six Sigma project manager, to GM/Executive level plant management and distribution management position.  He has worked closely with customer facing functions of customer service, sales, marketing, and quality
