The Future of Dynamics GP
With being a Microsoft Dynamics GP partner, something we often get asked is, “What is the future of Dynamics 365 GP?” and although the future of Dynamics GP doesn’t likely include major releases or functionality, there are a few things to expect and to consider.
With Microsoft Dynamics GP, which is an older solution, Microsoft will continue to support Dynamics GP. Although there aren’t going to be any major improvements in this solution, there will be a new release every year through 2024. Essentially there won’t be vast improvements, but user requests or minor modifications will be made. The Dynamics GP you have today will likely be the Dynamics GP you have in 3-5 years.
Something to Consider…
If you are looking to use technology as an advantage, mobility, or the cloud, Microsoft Dynamics GP is not the best solution for you.
