Microsoft CRM 2013 is Going Mobile!

One of the most requested items from clients that own Microsoft CRM 2011 is “When can I use CRM on my iPad?”  Well, the wait is almost over. Shortly after the November 4th 2013 release of CRM 2013, Microsoft will be releasing apps for both the Windows Surface Tablets, and the iPad for CRM 2013 online accounts. Microsoft CRM 2013 is a natural for tablet and mobile use and it promises to deliver a rich experience for iPad users, and best of all, the app is going to be free! You will just be able to download it through the iTunes store.

One of the best features will be data caching so that data will be still viewable if you lose connectivity.

Here is a great pre-release view

On the iPhone side, Microsoft has just released a new mobile app – yes it’s free and can be downloaded from the iTunes store immediately. Unfortunately, it won’t work until you connect to a CRM 2013 site. Obviously, the iPhone app will still have limited capabilities – there is only so much that can be done on a phone screen. However, it will provide basic account, contact and activity viewing and creation.

Stay tuned for more updates in this area – 2014 will be an exciting year for CRM 2013 and mobile access!  And if you are interested in learning more about Microsoft CRM and its mobile capabilities please contact us.
