Microsoft CRM 2011 Update Release

Microsoft recently announced a new update for Microsoft CRM 2011. The CRM Online release is called November 2011 Service update. The On-premise update is called Update Rollup 5, but the functionality is exactly the same for both. It is just different nomenclature depending whether you have Microsoft CRM 2011 on-premise or online.

The biggest news is the Social Media aspect of the release. Microsoft CRM Activity Feeds allow you to have a Social Media element for Microsoft CRM. The Activity Feeds provide real time notifications and quick sharing of information via quick and short updates.
The dialog feature has been improved significantly to allow for more data types to be included and better interaction with the browser.
The Outlook CRM client has been enhanced to include sub grids, notes and clickable links in the reading pane.
