What’s New in D365 Marketing and Why It Matters

Posted on: July 31, 2025 | By: Page Wildridge | Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Marketing is constantly improving with new updates to meet the needs of your business. In their latest release, Microsoft unveiled new features to help your business make more effective marketing decisions and increase client satisfaction. In this blog, we will cover three new tools that your business should be taking advantage of already.

Adding Smart Forms to Your Website

You can create responsive forms within Dynamics 365 and drop them into any webpage using a JavaScript snippet. Additionally, you can highly customize these forms according to the visitor’s location or campaign source. If you have a form on your website that you already like, Form Capture can attach this existing form to one within Dynamics. Then, you can keep your layout the same while sending information to the CRM to use for marketing purposes.

Smarter Journey Orchestration with Custom Attribute & Behavioral Triggers

Within Microsoft Marketing, you can specify specific traits to ensure that your clients are getting the most tailored information possible. This includes targeting customers by both who they are and what they are doing. For example, you can branch your journeys dynamically, with information like location, industry, or loyalty status. Additionally, you can reach out based on a client’s actions. For example, if the reader clicked on a link or if they filled out a specific form, you can create a journey around this action. Lastly, within Dynamics, you can create custom triggers that activate based on your own pre-set conditions. This includes if someone visits a page multiple times, a shopper abandons their cart, or a support ticket is submitted.

Seamless Registration with Embedded Event Portals

If your business runs events, like webinars, workshops, or in-person conferences- Dynamics 365 Marketing makes it easier to create a professional website. With built in templates by Power Pages, you can quickly create a sleek event portal for visitors to learn about the event and register. You can also customize the look of your event portal with Power Pages to match your business. If you want to track event attendance, you can add a registration form directly to the website so you know who is coming!
