Updating Account Descriptions in GP Using Mass Modify

Continuing on our blog post series highlighting different features from the October 2021 release, Microsoft has added a new option for users in the Mass Modify Chart of Accounts window.
Users can now make updates to existing account descriptions so that they match the segment descriptions within that specific account using the Mass Modify window. GP takes each segment description from the Segment Setup window and assembles a string to update your new account description. Users have the ability to do this with one individual account or with multiple.
This makes it much easier and faster to update pertinent information within the system, keeping all users informed.
