Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams
This first spot is any ice cream lover’s dream! Jeni’s is centered in Columbus, Ohio and has 4 different locations throughout Chicago—Wicker Park, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, and Old Town. Best known for their creative flavors and high quality ingredients, Jeni’s is a well-known ice cream paradise. A few of the remarkable flavors fanatics are raving about include: brown butter almond brittle and brambleberry crisp. You won’t get Jeni’s uniqueness and supreme quality anywhere else.
Sweet Mandy B’s
Located in the heart of Lincoln Park this gem will give you a feeling of nostalgia. This family friendly, pastel-colored joint is the go-to for old fashion desserts. All the classics are featured on Sweet Mandy B’s shelves—bars, pies, cookies, cakes, and of course award-winning cupcakes! Locals rave about their homemade buttercream frosting topped upon all the cupcakes. Since Sweet Mandy B’s is neighbors with DePaul University, students are constantly flocking to this bakery for their little taste of home.

This new and trendy spot in the West Loop has has Chicagoans waiting in the line all summer long. Known for their coffee, doughnuts, and gelato all BomboBar’s items are 100% Instagram worthy! BomboBar takes a special twist on your average dessert menu. Bombobar’s original bombolini is a holeless doughnut. Bombolini’s come with a squeezable bottle of filling so you can customize the sweetness to your liking. Some famous bombolini favors include: nutella cream and salted carmel.
Mindy’s Hot Chocolate
Mindy’s is the perfect spot for those in seek of a comfortable and cozy ambiance. Located on Damen Ave amid Bucktown’s center, not only does this spot have a long list of decadent hot cocoas, Mindy’s features an entire menu and alcohol list.
