Microsoft deprecated XSLT Positive Pay format, what should I do next?
Posted on: August 20, 2022 | By: Guy Logan | Microsoft Dynamics AX/365, Microsoft Dynamics Manufacturing
If you have been experiencing issues using the XSLT format for Positive Pay, that is because Microsoft deprecated the XSLT format as of March 14, 2022. XSLT has previously been the standard Positive Pay file format in D365. According to Microsoft, the reason for this new adjustment is because XSLT needed to be deprecated in order to “improve security and data protection within finance and operations apps”. Since this format is no longer supported by Microsoft, the file format needs to be rewritten in X++ or electronic reporting before moving to version 10.0.30 or later. For earlier versions, the exception will expire effective January 31, 2023. Customers with this exception have received a notification in the Message center available in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
Rest assured, Logan Consulting has already begun transitioning clients to an X++ solution and would welcome the opportunity to speak with you about a solution for this.
