Microsoft is going to begin rolling out new features from the second of the company’s two annual updates for the year, 2022 release wave 2, in October. Included in this release is a focus on Dynamics 365 Sales in order to make the platform more effective in the seller experience. Microsoft has focused on enhancements through the usage of data and AI to aid sellers in blending business and productivity tools to boost efficiency.
Let’s review the three primary areas where we see these improvements.
Microsoft has updated reporting capabilities in Dynamics 365 Sales so that managers and admin can have more insight over the performance of teams and individuals. There are now more filtering options available so that admins can be precise in their assessment of overall performance.
Sales Accelerator and Process Automation
Users can expect to see improvements in the sales accelerator module, where they are able to conveniently and effectively interact with customers through multiple channels. Moreover, users have access to a prioritized worklist in order to boost accuracy and guide them towards the right customers.
Process automation gives users the ability to automatically assign different leads and opportunities to the suited sellers. Users rely on personalized rules to influence who gets what on the sales teams. This maximizes workflow efficiency.
The conversation intelligence module harnesses the power of data science by analyzing sellers’ call recordings and providing informed suggestions that can aid managers when coaching their sales teams.
