Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 Field Service platform offers users a mobile application, which is a great tool for service technicians who require constant access to work orders while onsite at a job.
The Field Service mobile app is included with the Field Service license for Microsoft users, and offers a robust set of features to bring field service work to the next level.
Technicians can use their device cameras to take and upload photos and videos into the app, which is a quick and convenient way to store pertinent information.
The app allows users to scan different types of barcodes through either a global search or at a field level.
Because technicians often find themselves at sites where the internet service is unstable, the Field Service mobile app ensures that users have access to any data at any time through the offline mode.
Generating customer reports is made easier than ever through the mobile app, with field technicians simply needing to collect signatures from the customer. Moreover, these documents can quickly be sent out through email as a PDF.
