Cindy’s

This is the spot you’ll want to take tourists to get a taste of what Chicago is all about. With upscale cocktails, serene views of Millennium Park, and highly-rated brunch, you won’t be disappointed. You can take in some fresh air while snapping those insta-worthy photos you’ve been dying to capture all summer long!

UP & UP Cabana Club

Above the boutique hotel, The Robey, this up and coming spot is a hidden gem Chicagoans are flocking to in the heart of Wicker Park. This 13th floor lounge offers expansive views of the skyline from a unique perspective in West Town. UP & UP switches it up with a Latin American twist on cuisine and drinks with options such as mescal margaritas, palomas, tostadas, octopus, and even Jeni’s Ice Cream for dessert! UP & UP’s pool on the 6th floor adds an even more exciting element, but you’ll have to grab a room at the Robey to take a dip yourself.

Whisky Business

Whisky Business is Wicker Park’s first rooftop bar. Inspired by the classic 80’s movie Risky Business you'll find an assortment of retro items throughout the restaurant. Known for their fry bar, casual vibes, and of course expansive whisky list this destination is perfect for just about any summer evening. With a movie night on Mondays and karaoke on Wednesdays, Whisky Business has a little excitement for everyone!

Joy District

This swanky spot in River North isn’t known as the best view of the city, but with this attractive crowd and cozy space you’ll want to check out what all the hype is about. Late night this bar has popular music and an upbeat atmosphere that brings in a decent sized crowd, especially on the weekends. Looking for a large order of fun? Try the 94oz Paloma, Moscow Mule, or Punch! If you are more of a foodie looking for an eccentric appetizer, Joy District offers Asian inspired bites like tuna poke, sushi rolls, and deviled eggs.

LondonHouse

Right in the eye of the city this extravagant and chic hotel is located on Wacker and Michigan. LondonHouse is a one of a kind experience with its tri-level rooftop starting on the 21st floor. The indoor bar on the 21st floor offers a continental breakfast daily for hotel guests. Head up to the 22nd floor for sweeping views of the Chicago River, Lake Michigan, and the Magnificant Mile while sipping on a fancy beverage. LondonHouse’s updated brunch menu lists options for any taste such as lobster roll, brisket, and a variety of omelets on the menu. The 23rd floor is an exclusive private area on the top of the historical LondonHouse building.

The J. Parker

With yet again a different view of the city this rooftop above Hotel Lincoln has been especially trendy this summer. This Lincoln Park view of the zoo, park, and Lake Michigan is a great spot for daylight views. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday 5 to 8pm if you need a spot for a post-work burger and hand cut fries. This classy yet casual spot is the perfect location to get together with friends and relax.
