QAD offers the “newish” Adaptive UX, which is built on HTML and leverages mobile user interfaces for iOS and Android devices, that provides a rich user experience that also makes onboarding and training much more efficient and intuitive than other interfaces. This blog discusses some of the key benefits and select features of the Adaptive UX.

Benefits

  • Users and administrators can personalize the UX based on specific roles and/or preferences for increased productivity.
  • Improved transaction speed for order entry and processing.
  • Embedded self-service analytics including pre-built KPI’s and dynamic browses. These KPI’s can be expanded or customized to the needs of the user, role, or business.
  • Reduced training time due to the intuitive, familiar nature of the UX

Select Features

  • Inbox

The integrated Inbox allows users to see their tasks, approvals, and notifications related to system events, comments from other users, and updates to activities the user is following.

  • Action Centers

The Activity Centers provide role-based data, metrics, and insights into the business.

  • Stored Views

For all views and hybrid views, users can modify the columns displayed, default selection criteria, etc., and then store the view for future use, which speeds the access to information.

  • Activity

Users can add comments and mentions to a record to track related activity. Tagged users will receive notifications in their QAD Inbox and can directly access the related record from the notification.

  • Attachments

User can attach any document to a specific record in the Adaptive UX, which is visible to all users when accessing the record.

  • Drill-Down Links

The user can immediately drill from one program to another related program using the Drill-Down Links. The link will carry forward contextual information during the drill-down to reduce data entry.
