The client was a construction company focused on designing customized cranes, shipping, and installation these cranes into warehouses. Additionally, the client offers repairs and maintenance to said cranes following installation.  

The Opportunity  

The client was seeking an integrated and highly customizable ERP system where all their information would be held in one place. They also were seeking an ERP with a built-in CRM, and they hoped to use the software to generate financial statements at any time, rather than at the end of a period.  

Acumatica’s Warehousing and Professional Services edition offered a significant advantage to the client. The Warehouse module is full of features that allowed the company to automate their processes and allowed them to stay on top of their materials. The Professional Services edition comes with highly customizable financial management tools to track your data. Additionally, the edition helps businesses allocate resources and teams to different tasks and workflows to stay on top of your projects.

The Solution:  

Logan experts assisted the clients in implementing Acumatica through the Logan methodology. This included scoping, training users, and design sessions. Logan assisted the client in harnessing the power of Acumatica’s Warehouse functionalities. This includes Pick, Pack, and Ship, Receiving, 3-way match, and barcoding. Additionally, Logan helped with automating business functions or activities that require no analysis or examination and repeated on a periodic basis. Automating these processes alleviated the resource burden created by these activities.  Logan assisted the client in the conference room pilot before the client implemented Acumatica as their official ERP system.  

The Results:  

Logan assisted the client in improving their overall visibility in their business. This visibility that was added through Acumatica included information on their finances, warehouse, manufacturing, and more. Additionally, the client was looking for integration with Acumatica’s CRM to give the business a single system with integrated customers and contacts. This allowed for a more efficient and effective sales cycle.
