Top 3 Updates to Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Microsoft’s Release Wave 2 is here, and with it tons of new updates across all of Business Central’s functionalities. This includes new changes to Dynamics 365 Sales, Service, Field Service, and more. In this blog, we will cover the new AI-powered capabilities and other enhancements across core CRM functions.  

Filter Information with Smart Grid  

Make finding information easier for your sales team with new natural language searching capabilities. A new Copilot tool, “Smart Grids,” helps you filter, search, and sort data based on your search queries. Type a conversational query into the search, and Copilot will pull corresponding data up instantly. Additionally, Copilot will tell you what criteria it filters by, so you can manually delete anything that doesn’t best fit your needs. For example, you can type “opportunities where estimated revenue is greater than 10000 USD,” and let the CRM do filtering for you.  

Auto-Linked CRM Data  

New leads within your CRM sometimes don’t tie to an existing account or contact records, which can cause a disconnect for creating the best customer experience possible. Instead of manually tying old records to existing ones, the sales qualification agent in Dynamics 365 Sales now automatically finds duplicate records to tie them together so that the existing lead indicates all past and current interactions that you have had with your client.  

Integrated Bookings Across Outlook and Teams  

You no longer have to switch between the Microsoft apps that you use every day. Instead, schedule your day all within one tool. Your field service worker can view their appointments for the day in either Outlook or Teams to understand where they are needed without ever switching applications. Additionally, any new updates to their calendar will be automatically changed within both calendars. This ensures that field service workers are always in the know.
