Self-Service Database Exporting from LCS for D365 for Finance and Operations

If you back up your Tier2 UAT database frequently, you probably used the command line interface to do it. Example: “SqlPackage.exe /a:export /…other arguments” -you would be happy to know the LCS team rolled out a self-service option.
You can now request this through LCS under the environment details Maintain section. Select Move database and then Export database.
Acknowledge the terms and after a while the BACPAC file will be available in LCS’s Asset Library under Database backup, this can take some time depending in the DB size.
