Newest Updates to Dynamics CRM: Sales
Posted on: May 31, 2024 | By: Page Wildridge | Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Each year, Microsoft releases two major updates to their systems, full of new features and improvements to old ones. In the 2024 release wave 1, Microsoft has enhanced the efficiency and user experience of their CRM. In this blog, we will cover three of the best new updates to enhance your sales processes within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Copilot Contact Summaries
Dynamics CRM is integrated with their AI assistant, Copilot. Now, you can utilize AI to help you stay on top of your interactions to strengthen your relationship with your customers. Copilot will generate a Contact Summary of your client, detailing your contact’s purchase history, preferences, and past deals. Beyond this, the summary will also include your preferences, their relationship with other co-workers, and updates from LinkedIn. Lastly, the summary will remind you if you have any pending action items associated with the contact. You can utilize the AI helper to reduce wasted time combing through a variety of data sources to find information on your contact. Instead, you can generate client summaries in a matter of seconds, to refresh your memory about your contact before the next meeting.
New Manager Dashboards
Sales managers can now access data about the productivity of their team in a new way. With the new manager dashboards, Microsoft provides managers with trends to analyze the aggregated customer and seller interactions. Through the dashboard, you can view conversation style correlation to deal outcomes, messaging performance, and conversational KPIs over time. Additionally, the dashboard gives you access to sales information, such as call time and length, connected record status, campaigns, and more. The dashboard helps managers pinpoint effective campaign strategies, while staying closely connected with their employees.
Sequence Preview
Sellers can utilize sequences to ensure they are following the right steps to closing their deals. When creating sequences, you can choose whether to connect an existing sequence to a record, or create a new, personalized sequence. Now, you can preview the full sequence to get an overview of the total number of steps, days spent, time required to complete the deal, and more. You can also view which team member completed different steps, as well as assigning a member to a future task. This new feature enhances the sales process by ensuring your team remains task-focused.
