Microsoft Dynamics GP Partner: 3 Values of an Assessment
Posted on: January 17, 2020 | By: Guy Logan | Microsoft Dynamics GP
Microsoft Dynamics GP Assessment
As a Microsoft Dynamics GP Partner, we are going to share the values of a Microsoft Dynamics GP assessment. Many of our clients who have Dynamics GP are interested in proving their use of the system and getting more value from it. They often come to us with a laundry list of issues. We sometimes suggest that they engage in a Microsoft Dynamics GP assessment. So, the question is, what is the value of an assessment or what do our clients gain from doing this assessment?
Improved Streamlining Processes
The first major benefit is the improved streamlining processes. This allows our clients to review business processes and match Dynamics GP to support the processes that they use today. Oftentimes the Dynamics GP was implemented many years ago, and the use of Dynamics GP does not match the business process it has today.
Training
The second value to our clients from a Microsoft Dynamics GP assessment is training. We often find that our clients can benefit from training with Dynamics GP. Even users who are experienced, often benefit from learning things that they didn’t know about the system.
Take Advantage of Features
The third benefit of the Dynamics GP assessment is that people can take advantage of features they may not have known about. We find that many of our clients upgrade, they’ll just do a technical upgrade so they won’t learn about all the new features. For example, a client may have been on Dynamics GP 2013, and moved up all the way to Dynamics GP 2018, but didn’t understand all of the new features that came in GP 2015 or GP 2016. By understanding the benefits that came with each release, we can help our clients better use the software so they can get the most of Dynamics GP.
