Logan Consulting Speaking at the Fall MWUG Conference

Logan Consulting is a proud supporter of the Midwest User Group, the largest independent group for QAD’s manufacturing and Enterprise Application software. The MWUG conference, held each spring and fall, provides an environment for QAD vendors, service providers, and users to share and exchange information.


 


This years Spring conference brought over 300 attendees from the QAD community covering 5 industries. You won't want to miss out on the second event of 2017! The upcoming MWUG Conference will be held October 9th and 10th at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids, MI. Logan Consulting will be leading 3 conference sessions centered on QAD Configurator, QAD Enterprise Edition, and Developing an Internal ERP Training Program. See below for details on our sessions.

Session 1: QAD Configurator- What It Is & How to Implement


Speaker: Andrew Hall, Principal

The session will present an overview of the QAD Configurator and its value and capabilities, including differentiation against Configured Products. It will then detail an implementation approach the includes capturing internal product knowledge and converting it to the standard QAD Configurator functions.


 



Session 2: QAD Enterprise Edition- General Ledger Features, Functions & Transactions




Speaker: Andy Vitullo, Principal

This session will focus on key configuration requirements that support efficient closing cycles, USGAAP and IFRS transactions, and operational reporting for product line and market results. Configuration settings will focus on GL Accounts, Daybooks, GL Layers and SAFS. Reporting will focus on the configuration of master data and its impact on transactions.

 



Session 3: Developing an Internal ERP Training Program


Speaker: Jackie Das, Client & Andrew Hall, Principal

Are your ERP users in need of training, but unsure if the available training options will help them become more knowledgeable and efficient with their supporting ERP system. At this session you will learn how world class medical device company developed and implemented a company-wide ERP training program, which had a positive impact on the company's adoption of QAD modules across all business functions. Through training on the key ERP concepts and processes within the company, while at the same time emphasizing the importance of robust master data set up, Jackie led a system-neutral training program to demonstrate that if we use the system the way it is intended, we only need ONE business system in the company and that is QAD!
