Getting Started with the Dynamics 365 Sales Mobile App
Posted on: July 22, 2025 | By: Page Wildridge | Microsoft Dynamics CRM
Microsoft is constantly improving their products to help users have the best experience. Their mobile application for sales can help your sales workers stay in touch with their customers throughout the whole day, especially those who spend their work days traveling or away from a desk. Staying connected with your clients is important for strengthening your relationships with them and ensuring they receive the best service possible. In this blog, we will cover setting up the D365 Sales App.

Ease of Use
The D365 app is specifically designed for sales, allowing field workers to focus on specific elements of their days. It also helps users to both share and capture information quickly. The application has been optimized with key features that a sales person needs on a day to day, like leads, opportunities, orders, and quotes. Additionally, you can access other features to help you close deals quickly and remain organized, like the sales acceleration, the assistant, and the deal manager. The app helps you view and rearrange your schedule throughout the day on your mobile device. Additionally, the app will notify you of meetings and activities for the day to ensure you are prepared. You can join Teams meetings on your mobile device. This allows you to take calls from the road and stay in touch with your whole team.
Installing the Mobile Application
Before downloading the app onto your mobile device, ensure that your email address has been approved. Also, check that you have read permission for the Organization and Mailbox table and Dynamics 365 for mobile privilege. Checking these before you download will make sure you can run the application smoothly and use all of its features.
Next, download the application to your iOS or Android device and sign in. If you do not see the application that you want to run, click on “non-production apps” via the slider icon on the top right corner.
Getting Started
After you sign in, each time you open the app you will be taken to the home page. There, you can find information quickly about what is most important for your day. For example, what is next in your schedule, your most recent contacts, records, and notes, and reminders. On the bottom of your application, you can select “Meetings,” to learn more about your daily schedule and to see what is upcoming.
